The Lord is my Captain, I shall not want. 2. He shows me the way to safe haven in the lee of verdant isles; He fetches to me the blue waters. 3. He restores my soul; as a new keel and bright work. He commissions me charts drawn in righteousness, For his names sake. 4. Even though I may broach in confused seas and drift over deaths reef, I will fear no evil; For thou art with me. 5. Thou hast prepared a cargo for me in the presence of pirates; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. 6.Surely goodness and mercy will be known in the wake of all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the fleet of the Lord forever. |
